Ceramic chip capacitors meet automotive quality standards
Ceramic chip capacitors meet automotive quality standards Beck Elektronik (Nuremberg) has taken the ceramic multilayer capacitors (MLCCs), series CQ, from Korean vendor Samwha into its sales spectrum. The capacitors meet automotive quality standards AEC-Q200 and JEDEC-020-D.
Available are the models COG 0402 through 0805 with capacities up to 1.5nF for operating voltages from 25V to 50V. Model COG 1206 is available for operating voltages of 50V to 100V and with capacities of 1nF maximum. Also available are ceramic X7R capacitors models 0603 through 1206 for operating voltages of 25V to 50V and capacities of up to 2.2µF. In order to minimize the risk of short circuits caused by breaks, the manufacturer offers the option of “open mode” technology and flexible termination for certain capacity values.
The capacitors are suited for automotive applications in segments such as comfort and interior or infotainment and car audio. In addition, they suit for application applications, in particular in power supplies.
Samples are available upon request.
